Distribution
Found through much of southern Asia, from Afghanistan to Taiwan. Also found in northeastern China, far eastern Russia and Japan. The Baluchistan bear is a Critically Endangered subspecies of the Asiatic black bear that is found in south Pakistan and Iran.
Habitat
Inhabits temperate, subtropical and tropical forests.
