BBC Earth nominated for 3 Webby Awards

The Webby Awards are known as ‘The Oscars of the Internet’ and BBC Earth has been nominated for three of them!

The BBC Earth website is up for Best Science Website; full of fascinating articles on a variety of themes ranging from mythical sea creatures to the science of black holes. Vote now.

Our out-of-this-world short film ‘Why there could be many copies of you’ is a finalist in the Best Film & Video in the Science and Education category. The documentary explores the theory of that there are multiple copies of everyone in the universe and what would happen if you met your 'Cosmic Twin'. Vote now.

Last, but certainly not least, the Story of Life app has been nominated for Best Mobile Site and App in the Education and Reference Category. The free app gives you access to over 1000 of David Attenborough’s best moments, right at your fingertips. Vote now.

Now in its 21st year, the Webby Awards are the ‘Internet’s highest honour’ judged by digital and technology experts and the public during People’s Voice voting.
